Hey guys ,

I was writing to thank all of you for your support of Daily Hockey Deals in the past. The website has been a great experience and I have met a lot of great people during the year of its existence.  However , saying that, sadly the end of the site has come.  There has been some backlash from some of my earliest supporters that DHD had just gotten to be to "non personal". That ( the personal side of the site)  was the one of the biggest reasons for making the site in the first place. The vision was and is "A hockey site made by the hockey community for the hockey community."  When teaming up with the partners of DailyHockeyDeal I had my vision of what the site would grow to become from the original blog and they had theirs. We were really confident that we could combine both visions and make a great site for members of the hockey community to enjoy.  However when you team with up with a business there are certain expectations of earnings associated with doing business with them. While making money has never been my main goal at Dailyhockeydeal it was a nice perk.  However due to the site becoming to commercial/non personal,  the business did not find itself making enough money to keep the site viable. My partners decided it was best to put Dailyhockeydeal on the shelf and focus on a bigger picture. I want to say my partners were great and there were no hard feelings about this. We mutually came to this decision and I think its the best for them, the best for me, and more importantly the best for DailyHockeyDeals moving forward.

All this being said  I am moving the site back to the original blog. DailyHockeyDeals.blogspot.com . I am starting back at square one so we can get back to the grass roots personal level at which we started and  that made DailyHockeyDeals a favorite. My goals for the site/blog at the ground level will never change.  I want to be a place where beginning players & veteran players can come to save money and find great deals on hockey equipment.  I would also like it to become a place where members of the hockey players can come ask questions about the game, chat with friends, and have a sense of being a part of a community ... The Hockey Community ( a community that I think is the best community in the sports world) .  I ask that you continue to support the DailyHockeyDeals name and feel free to contact me with any questions , advice, or ideas.  My new email for the time being is Nickerjones@gmail.com.  The Blog is still up from last year and I am hoping to jump back into it as soon as possible.  Once again thanks for all your support and I look forward to working with all of you in the future.
